On June 5th of last year me and my family went on vacation to a Country named Guatemala. Guatemala is the country where i was born. Not only did we go to Guatemala but we took a trip to Mexico. Our road trip was exciting, but it was also long but after you go on the road trip more than once it doesn’t seem that long. The road trip takes about 3 days, but once we get to our destination it’s a big relive. My family and I went along through all the coast of Mexico. The coast looked beautiful especially during the daytime when you can see the sunlight shine and reflect across the water like a mirror. About half way through Mexico we stopped at an hotel .The hotels there aren’t really that great but at least its better than staying the car because it gets hot in a car even at night time. In Mexico during the night the temperature gets hot its probably because the ocean. Most of Mexico is beautiful; when you drive through all the hills and the mountains. Unlike the United States Mexico is mostly cover in mountains and trees because most of the land has been conserved. The bad thing about Mexico is that most of the cops are crooks and u have to bribed them with money so they can let you go if you don’t give them money when they ask you to, they’ll probably give you a ticket. When we finally get to Guatemala we finally just laid back and relaxed in a couch because that long trip wore us out even thou we just sit there we feel bored and tired. On the next day i would go out to the city where all the stores are at just walk around and chill. the difference between Guatemala and the USA is that in Guatemala you can drink at any age and that the cop can be bribed into letting you go. Even though people say that Guatemala is poor it actually depends where you go because where i live none of my family are poor, on the other hand some of my family are rich. You can tell the difference between the rich and the middle class because the rich have big mansions made of cement. The cement actually keeps the houses cool from inside.
